Your cavorting around NYC at these incredible exhibitions gives many of us solid vicarious thrills without having to actually make a loooong expensive trip. You get to hang with THE Roz Chast?
😱🤯. I would just lose it entirely. 😍
Thanks for sharing your sparkly life and hard work with the rest of us.
And I appreciate that vintage quote from The New Yorker founder about the QUALITY illustrations. That is the key to the personality of the magazine. Hope they don’t forget it!
When I was in my 20s I lived in a building where the entire laundry room was wallpapered in vintage NY covers! It was a treasure to just stay down there for the duration of the cycle just looking looking looking.
Bob! Of course. And I just received your book from my doorman in my old building (sorry I didn't send you my new address before you sent it). It's brilliant!
Your stuff is brilliant---love the cat/carrot/stick/dog and I bagel New York, especially. Also love your Mister Softee and Roz Chast's Sisyphus The Commuter (Sorry. Sorry...Sorry). Wonderful.
To be clear, the "sorry sorry sorry" came from Sisyphus, not me. I just really like the idea that he would be apologizing for his rock. Maybe that was a joke on your part? If so, I could apologize for not getting it? Anyway---you're an absolute pleasure.
Jason the AI threat of destruction of Actual Intelligence is only the tip of the iceberg.
I’m not running a business anymore, so am uninterested in these new tools but the following story from Live Science stopped me in my tracks with a real sense of foreboding.
I should have done more crowd-watching at the Transit Museum event! I live in Chicago, but happened to be in NYC that day and was delighted to be able to get a ticket. It was a blast to hear Roz Chast, whose work I have loved for many years, and to be introduced to Ellis Rosen and his work. The questions from the crowd were fun and it was notable how everyone was clearly a fan and felt no need to play it cool when in the presence of a legend.

That laundry room sounds so good it might actually make me enjoy doing laundry... Amazing.
Thanks for your note, Ali. I really am grateful to know you're enjoying it!
Love it. Another nice wrap-up and I'm glad you continue raise awareness regarding AI. Thank you.

Hahaha. Sorry, yes I love that cartoon.

OA is the new luxury. Original Art.
Carry on.
Thank you for this, Ali. I’ll take a look.
That's a classic "nothing to see here" look from Morris.

I agree! It was so much fun and the questions were great. They’re both such naturally funny people.
