September 4th, 2022

Heaving my sweaty body around the city as the final days of summer wane, I feel relief at the prospect of fall. New Yorkers will soon go from complaining about the heat to complaining about the cold. Cuffing Season

will rear its head once again, and we’ll begin layering up over our unevenly tanned arms.

Back in Australia (and the rest of Earth), we call Fall “Autumn”.
It probably makes more sense. Then again, I did see this tweet, and now it makes me question everything.

Either way, the exhaustion at the end of a long and diabolically muggy summer feels like… Ah, I don’t have the words for it.
