This is the most adorable photo of Morris that I’ve seen. He looks as though he has digested one too many apostrophes and doesn’t understand their appeal. Congrats to you and Scott!!🎉
This is marvelous. Just love the detailed account of how it all came together. I took one class in cartooning when I was in high school, a very, very long time ago, and the inking was my complete undoing (that and a complete lack of natural drawing talent). I loved cartoons and, perhaps like most people, thought they might be easy. You make it clear that what looks "easy" is far from it. This is true of so many things---things we take for granted---and it's always good to be reminded that there's more to almost every task than we are aware of. Congrats on the New Yorker. Good luck to both teams and to the city of New York.
Congratulations. Glad your fascinatingly detailed work paid off -- and glad you recounted it here. Also glad one particular noteworthy guest wasn't the focus.

He truly does!
Fantastic! I have zero interest in sports yet found this very funny. Congratulations. And thanks for showing the process.

Thought of your cartoon every time the camera went to the celebs in the front row.
And thanks to ____, X was much farther away.
YAY! You work hard for the money... :-) And, dang - that is a perfect cartoon for these days!
Thank you Pat!
Yay! Your 'flimsy nib' makes it real...Congratulations!
Congratulations!! I love the glimpse behind the curtain. So glad you included Morris, your muse and keeper-in-line-er.
Way to go man - super cool to see behind the scenes!

Nice one, Cyril. I'm suitably jealous, and congratulate you on the sale, and the journey to get there. Well done my fiend.
Morris’ best look. So adorable. Plus ABSOLUTELZy THRILLED you have a cartoon in the New Yorker and it is timely, sarcastic and New York-y. Bravo.
