I love these insights! Especially the "world building": I really love it when a picture book offers a bit of hidden narrative in this way, hinting at the broader lives of the characters.
It is a bunch of extra work, but it is worth it in the long run :)
I want to start this thing of making book and graphic novels, so I'm obsessed about it and it was really fun to know how a professional does it!
