Loved the Paw Revere bit, thats peak Florida energy right there. The observation about handmade drawings feeling human versus AI-generated seven-legged dogs is spot-on. I did a similar event once and the real magic isnt just the drawing but watching peoples faces when they see their pet captured on paper.
Hi Jason, looks like you had an amazing time in Florida! There is a bookstore out here on the west coast called Warwicks.....it is in La Jolla, CA. You should come and do a book signing there!! It is the oldest owner-operated store in the country (as i am told....) We would love to have you visit!!! And the weather is even BETTER than Florida!!
My daughter loves your book, ordered for her birthday, with the drawing of Polly Waffle (with a bonus sketch of one the many turkeys that visit our backyard, sending Polly into Defender of the Realm shrieks). We are Aussies in Boston, buried under snow that is proving a challenge for the Polly Waffle’s very short legs. So glad your Florida event was a howling success, and hope Morris’s forgiveness can be bribed with treats.
Hoping Polly Waffle's paws are keeping warm and dry. Morris is having issues with the salted sidewalks at the moment; they're burning his little paw pads.
Just another annoyance in his ever-so difficult life...
sorry, i don't know them personally....but they DO have many events...lots are zoom, but I think you need to be IN-PERSON!! good luck! I will be the first in line!!
Not enough was said about those cupcakes.
They were the real star of the show.

I do love the reactions — it’s like a joke landing perfectly. Best feeling ever.
Did you try the pb pup cakes? They look pretty good!
You made my morning. Love the dynamics of Scott cracking jokes and interacting with everyone and you drawing your ass off. Hope Morris forgives you...

We would love to!
Could you email me the owner's contact details? (Or point me in the direction of where I'm might find them?) This sounds great

Thank you, Jessica!

They do know how to make you feel guilty!! ... I am sure with the right gifts you will be back in his good graces in no time.
Only time (and tummy rubs) will tell.
Bet he's singing to you -- You ain't nothing but a hound dog.🎶
Having fun rubbing shoulders with Republicans?
