Cheers and Frasier have been, and always will be, my top comfort shows. The man is an amazing comic actor that manages to make a funny line even funnier with just a raised eyebrow. (Grammer's political beliefs, however, break my heart.) Glad you and Hilary had the opportunity to do this.
I teach writing at a local community college. I am always looking for well written fresh perspectives on topics accessible to students who are of various ages. This I might use as a springboard. Okay??
I will let you know how it goes - I am asking them read then relate. How did they cope with the shutdown? Or, have they ever met a celebrity- how did this person measure up?
I gotta tell ya, Jason... Frasier saved me too. It was my pandemic TV medicine/best friend. It eased my anxiety. I didn't watch Tiger King, I still haven't, but I settled back in with Frasier & family... and everything was alright. :)
Mine was and still is As Time Goes By with Judi Dench and Geoffrey Palmer. I’d put my number of half hours up against y’alls
Say hi to Morris for me

Such great writing. I enjoyed every word.
Thanks so much, Lori. I took a long time to hit publish on this one :)

Of course! It'd be an honour.
I find writing very difficult; This is about the sixth draft of this post...
Even that ^^ “sixth draft” helps me teach!
The books that helped the most with writing were:
The Art of memoir by Mary Carr
Draft number 4 by John McPhee
Strunk & White obvs

This was a much better reboot! :-D
