Very much enjoyed DMA #19 with Samantha Dion Baker. Great video. Your conversation—they feel that way instead of an interview—was excellent. As an indie sw dev I could relate a lot with Samantha about “drawing what you want.” I decided to build what I want. That’s how my website WordsBelow.app came about. I enjoy humor (my buddies and I grew up quoting Monty Python) and decided to combine computer science with my passion for single-panel cartoons and the New Yorker Cartoon Caption Contest. Samantha’s genuine personality and comments made me think a lot about things. I called my Mom right after watching the interview. And, her book, “Draw Your Adventures”, looks awesome. I just pre-ordered it on Amazon. It’s coming July 18!
