If you could get Ed Steed on the podcast, that would be amazing. I got to meet him and Millie Von Platten at CXC last year and he's a good dude but has a Pynchonesque relationship to the spotlight. I have a photograph of him signing his book for me and I decided that bad karma would come my way if I posted it anywhere.
Millie is the best! We hung out a lot at CXC last year (Ed too) because Ed and I were both featured guests. If and when I make it to New York I told them I'd like to get together with them again. They at least seemed like they thought it would be a good idea at the time.
They're great. Ed is easily one of my top 3 favourite NYer cartoonists of all time. His Squid Surprise Party cartoon is on my wall. Never doesn't make me laugh.
The last time he and I hung out in March, we ended up stumbling out of a bar in Chinatown at seven in the morning… I don’t think I’m going to get him on the show lol

I'm due for another read through of Forces of Nature. I was very excited to meet him and get a signed book.
