My dad, an accountant for General Electric, commuted from Connecticut to Grand Central for fifteen years or so. At least once a week, he overheard conversations he shouldn’t have, from competitors or vendors who spoke too loudly about should-be-secret corporate intel. I’m not sure what he did with the info. I guess it didn’t end up in Talk of the Town.
