So, my brother-in-law lives in Perth, so as a result, I attended his daughter’s wedding on Rottnest Island. Just let those film magicians in Glasgow try to recreate a quokka! And what would the storyline for Quokkaman be? Begging for a better world. God the upright giant rats love strawberries, so that’s a start at characterization.

Bloody love that.

I went to Rotto at Christmas time and totally forgot what little clowns they are. They just wander into the bakery as if they're people. Unreal.

This is the best movie review I've ever read :-D What a fresh and important perspective!! You're a gem, and I'm grateful 1) I've found your space here, and 2) that you're part of the city you love and share it with the rest of us. Lastly, Morris looks like he's looking up at the bat sign...Perfect!

I have seen only one superhero movie, the original Christopher Reeve's Superman, and I don't plan to see another. Just not my thing. But I loved reading this. Makes me want to visit NYC for the 3rd time, and this time I will actually stay in the city and walk in the city. Thanks for painting such vibrant pictures with your words.

Glad to do so, Becky! The city is the main character in the film, (despite it not being shot anywhere near NYC)

Can’t wait see it. Will wait for it to be on the imax at OMSI ( Oregon museum)! Thanks for the review!
