Paris/Tuscany. Early today I wrote my family: The Sky is falling. The Sky is falling.

Passing thru Paris to work in Thailand, 1/2015, I went to the Charlie Hebdo site a few days after the murders. The Caution tape was still up. Thru tears, still smelling the noxious odor of hate and fear, I sketched my idea for a monument: The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword” and kept it for ten years until I could get back.

For the last 14 months I have created my design and maquette honoring CH and others for freedom from tyranny. Hope to see you in Limoges at the Cartoon festival. We cannot cower.

Loved your cartoon nod to Ann.

Thank you, Jason! This is serious. This is not a private company disciplining an employee for their conduct at work (as Republicans claim). This is the government (the FCC) forcing a broadcast company to censor speech. And with Pam Bondi threatening to go after Office Depot for not printing Charlie Kirk signs, it’s clear that this administration is willing to violate Supreme Court First Amendment decisions.

I want one of those "Free Press: Free Speech" buttons. Actually, a want a ton of them. People in power who can't take a joke won't last. And the comedians and cartoonists of the world will keep the pressure on, I have no doubt about that. Thank you for all you do.

Congress and the Supreme Court think they work for President Trump. They do not. They work for us as in We the People. Someone needs to explain that to them.

The list of companies that I’m boycotting is growing. The most recent addition is Coca-Cola for building a factory on Palestinian land which Israel usurped.

The billionaires who are benefiting from tax cuts being funded by money which used to go to things like health care, food banks, etc. I could go on but it’s a long and upsetting list. They should be ashamed of themselves. They should have turned down those tax cuts. Any goodwill that they had with the American people is evaporating. If they really need the money from those tax cuts, someone failed at teaching them how to budget.
