Oh, that is a bummer that it didn’t survive the pandemic. My parents had one of the Dangerfield specials with Bob Sagat, Sam Kineson, and others on VHS as I was growing up. (I’m almost the same age as the club.) We watched it a gazillion times and it is such a staple that they transferred it to DVD. To this day, lines and rimshots from that show are still one of the inside-joke ways the three of us communicate. Thanks for this last peek, and I wish you ever-growing nights at the mic. Oh, no kidding! It has been the same for dance. I’ve switched to making stuff specifically for video which has been super fascinating, super fun, and struck some shackles that have let me fly in a few directions I never knew I yearned to so... shrug??? The show must... 😜
And actually I got all distracted with the scrolling and the reminiscent blathering down here but NOW I’ll be able to follow your crumbs. I’m additionally fascinated by the sketch-animation load of your photos. My keynote (Mac PowerPoint) will do that. Is that something you do from Substack or externally? Such a cool thing for a cartoonist’s pub! It just adds a unique flair to your space.😻
